Levi Strauss & Co. wasn’t sure what to expect when they committed to donating $1,000 to the Junior Giants for every home run hit by the San Francisco Giants in their 2010 World Series. Seven home runs later, including the one by Edgar Renteria in the fifth and final game of the series, makes the total $7,000.
In the spirit of good sportsmanship, Levi's decided to count all the World Series homers towards the donation to the Junior Ginats, including the three by the Rangers, for a $10,000 donation. So, congratulations to the two teams for a thrilling World Series and to the Junior Giants on their “win.”
