Mary C. Filar is a Merchandising & Promotion  Director at Marie Claire magazine. Prior to joining  Marie Claire in 2006, Mary also worked as the  Promotion Director at ELLE magazine and Marketing Director at the renowned Fred Segal Beauty. During her 10 year career in the fashion and beauty industry, Mary has traveled the United States promoting these brands, and participating in media segments on shows such as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, ABC News, and FOX news. In addition, Mary has also been  sought out by national newspapers such as the New York Times for input and commentary on promotional fashion and beauty events.
